Silverchair - Tomorrow
This video was played so frequently in the 90’s, I only had to see the first few seconds to recall how many times I groaned, “Again?” when it would come on. That of course, was just a frequency issue, not that I didn’t love it.
There’s actually two versions out there; an American and Australian version, the latter from the early baby-faced demo days of the band from their home country. (They won the opportunity to make the video after winning an Australian song competition). The American version, directed by Mark Pellington, with its creepy under lighting and pig faced star was an MTV staple and was the most played song on rock radio in 1995. And the band’s fearless leader Daniel Johns, was just sixteen years old at the time. Daniel Johns is a solo star and is still making music today but you won't find any hints of his grunge rock roots.
