Yungblud & Halsey Team Up With Travis Barker on "11 Minutes"

Late last year, Yungblud and Halsey were spotted hanging out together ... but not only were they hanging out, they were recording a song! The duo just released a collaborative single called "11 Minutes" and it features blink-182's Travis Barker.

"11 Minutes" follows Yungblud's first single of 2019, "Loner" and last year's debut album 21st Century Liability, as well as Halsey's chart-topping smash hit "Without You." The rock song features a hypnotic guitar riff throughout the track as Yungblud and Halsey trade verses about a rocky relationship. They both sing in the chorus, "You're 11 minutes away/ And I an't miss you all day/ I'm 11 minutes away/ So why aren't you here?"

In a statement, Yungblud explains of the meaning behind the new track, "The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society. We are so distracted and focused on what's next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realize how much we need something until it's taken away from us."

"11 Minutes" was made with producer/songwriters Matt Schwartz (Cold War Kids, Kylie Minogue), Zakk Cervini (Good Charlotte, Mayday Parade) and Chris Greatti (Grimes, Black Veil Brides). And Yungblud calls collaborating with Halsey and Travis Barker a "dream" and that the group has a love for rock music, making creating "11 Minutes" a no-brainer. In a statement, he explains:

"Working with Halsey and Travis was a f***ing dream – at the end of the day we're all rock kids. We grew up with a mutual adoration for the genre so it completely makes sense that we would come together and try to modernize it."
