Florence + The Machine Debut New Song Live in Australia: Watch

Florence + The Machine may have released their fourth studio album High as Hope just over six months ago, but with a stacked touring schedule in 2019 the band's trying to switch it up a little. During a show at Perth, Australia's RAC Arena on January 12, the band debuted a never before heard song live.

Though they didn't announce the name of the song, it's been thought to be titled "Moderation" due to Florence Welch's continued repeating of the word throughout the track. As NME reports, that title is what the song was referred to on the band's set list. The mysterious tune sees the group showcasing stark, booming drums and intricate guitar work as Welch sings “I never made it with moderation / No, I never understood / My feeling was all or nothing / I took everything I could.”

A fan was able to catch the entire performance on camera. Check out the video below.

The indie rockers are currently touring Australia and New Zealand before heading to Europe in March. They'll make a quick hop across the pond to play The Governers Ball festival in New York City this June before going back to Europe and the UK to play summer festivals.
